Siyata Mobile Signs Vendor Agreement And Receives First PO From Leading Global Two-Way Radio Vendor
Montréal, QC – Siyata Mobile Inc. (TSX-V:SIM | OTCQB: SYATF) (the “Company” or “Siyata”) is pleased to announce that it has signed a vendor agreement and receives a Purchase Order from a leading global two-way radio vendor.
Siyata will provide the vendor with both rugged devices as well as commercial vehicle devices with Push-to-Talk Over Cellular (“PoC”) capabilities. These devices will be sold to the vendor’s enterprise and government customers.
Marc Seelenfreund, CEO of Siyata Mobile, commented, “This is a very large-scale opportunity for Siyata which demonstrates our innovative approach in the PoC market. Major two-way radio vendors are now aggressively moving into the PoC arena to assure that they participate in this emerging market. We are confident that Siyata will be an important player in this space as we are the only company with a commercial in-vehicle cellular based technology platform and appropriate devices for the millions of trucks that need this capability.”
Push-to-Talk Over Cellular allows users to replicate two-way radio features with a simple push of a button. The PoC application presents an opportunity for users to access communication features that two-way radio provides like dispatch, instant chat, data applications and more, directly from their cellular based devices and over nationwide networks.
According to the United States Department of Transportation, in 2015 there were over 12 million fleet vehicles in the United States. Siyata aims to be the leading provider of connected vehicle and mobile hardware solutions as these commercial fleets upgrade their communication platforms to be compatible with next generation networks, PoC solutions and other software applications.
Siyata Mobile Inc. is a leading global developer and provider of cellular communications systems for enterprise customers, specializing in connected vehicle products for professional fleets, marketed under the Uniden® Cellular brand. Since developing the world’s first 3G connected vehicle device, Siyata has been a pioneer in the industry, launching the world’s first 4G LTE all-in-one fleet communications device in 2017. Incorporating voice, push-to-talk over cellular, data, and fleet management solutions into a single device, the company aims to become the connected vehicle communications device of choice for commercial vehicles and fleets around the world.
Siyata also offers rugged phones for industrial users and signal boosters for homes, buildings, and fleets with poor cell coverage. Siyata’s customers include cellular operators, commercial vehicle technology distributors, and fleets of all sizes in Canada, the U.S., Europe, Australia, and the Middle East.
