Vancouver, BCgood natured Products Inc. (TSX-V:GDNP) (the “Company” or “good naturedTM”) is pleased to announce that North Vancouver’s scrumptious gluten-free, vegan Two Daughters Bakeshop has made the switch to good naturedTM plant-based packaging for its energy bars and muffins.

Unlike traditional plastic, good naturedTM food packaging is made with 99% plant-based materials and no BPAs, phthalates or phytoestrogens. Along with innovative packaging designs that increase product visibility and preserve freshness, good naturedTM is helping businesses move away from fossil fuels to renewable resources while also eliminating chemicals that are potentially harmful to human health and the environment.

“At first it was the environmental factor that drew me to good natured™ packaging,” said Lisa of Two Daughters Bakeshop. “But once I got my hands on it, I could see the thought that had gone into the product design and was thrilled to see how great our baked goods looked in them! When I learned that good natured™ was also similar in price to traditional plastic packaging, I was sold.”

Paul Antoniadis, CEO of good naturedTM added: “We’re so pleased to be working with Two Daughters Bakeshop, who shares our commitment to supporting local business and our community. With a strong focus on the makeup of our respective products and protection of our environment, we look forward to a long and fulfilling relationship with Lisa and her team.”

About Two Daughters Bakeshop
From humble beginnings at local farmers’ markets in 2011, to a highly successful gluten-free vegan bakery in 2017, Two Daughters Bakeshop has come a long way in a very short space of time. Inspired by her love of baking as well as her youngest daughter’s celiac condition Lisa identified a lack of readily available, gluten-free vegan baked goods and set about building her own business. In October 2012, Two Daughters Bakeshop opened on 121 East 1st Street, North Vancouver, where it remains today.

With an assortment of products ranging from breads to donuts, pies to cookies, Two Daughters Bakeshop has something for everyone. Along with the bakery on East 1st Street, it is also possible for consumers to order products directly through their website and even sample some of the products in multiple locations around Vancouver.
