Eleven New Buildings Were Added to Urban’s Network in March, Including Five Commercial Buildings and Six Residential Buildings, in Coquitlam and Vancouver
Vancouver, BC – Urban Communications Inc. (TSX-V:UBN), one of the country’s first telecommunications companies to deliver Gigabit Internet service to the home, today announced that March was its best month ever in terms of expanding its fibre footprint and adding new buildings to its network.
11 new buildings were added in March, including 6 residential buildings in Coquitlam and Vancouver, and 5 commercial buildings in downtown Vancouver. In addition, Urban has another 11 buildings in the network construction phase that are expected to be connected to the network in the next 30 to 60 days. Newly added buildings increase the number of subscribers available for Urban to generate new customers and revenue opportunities.
