VANCOUVER, CANADA, Voleo Trading Systems Inc. (TRAD: TSX-V) (“Voleo”, the “Company”), is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Morgen Sullivan as VP Growth and Mr. Chitman Uppal as VP Compliance and Operations.
Ms. Sullivan joins the Voleo team with an extensive legal background in developing strategies to progress company initiatives and advanced leadership with cross-functional teams. Over the past twelve years, she has served as counsel for a major transportation company based in the United States, most recently as Associate General Counsel, managing an internal team of lawyers and legal technology professionals. Ms. Sullivan’s legal background and advocacy skills will be leveraged to identify, secure, and negotiate business-to-business (B2B) contracts with financial institutions. Given the core focus for the growth of Voleo’s business is in the United States, Ms. Sullivan will operate out of a satellite office in Jacksonville, Florida. Ms. Sullivan has earned her J.D. from Duke University School of Law as well as a BA, Economics from Dartmouth College.
Mr. Uppal has spent the last four years providing financial analysis and strengthening client relationships through his positions with Sun Life Financial and Setter Capital. Based out of Toronto, Mr. Uppal has liaised with Limited Partners (LP) to help them achieve liquidity risk management and asset allocation goals through strategic and opportunistic acquisitions and sales of private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and hedge fund investments. Mr. Uppal earned a Double-Degree Master of Business Administration (MBA)/Master of Finance (MFin) from the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University.
