Anil: Hi Kate, great to have you here. To get started, could you tell us a bit about what Venzee does and the problem it solves?
Kate: Hi Anil, it’s great to be here. The biggest challenge for the retail industry is that suppliers and retailers use different software which means their data isn’t in the same format. So, suppliers have to resort to using spreadsheets to share information about their products with retailers which creates a costly, labor intensive process that results in human error and delays revenue for everyone involved.
Using artificial intelligence, Venzee is able to transform data, directly from suppliers, into compatible formats that meet the requirements of retailers. This removes an unnecessary step from the supplier’s workflow and gets products into the marketplace fast, benefitting both the supplier and the retailer.
Venzee is four years old. Conceptually, our technology is simple, but it took three years to perfect the scalable and robust solution that we have today which is capable of addressing the needs of up and coming retailers on the Shopify platform to behemoths like Amazon or Walmart
