Siyata Receives Repeat Purchase Orders from Strathcona County for its RCMP Division

|

June 19, 2017

Toronto, ONSiyata Mobile Inc. (TSX-V:SIM / PINK:SIMFF) (the “Company” or “Siyata”) is pleased to announce that Strathcona County, Alberta has expanded the rollout of Siyata products to include their RCMP detachment.

Strathcona County RCMP have ordered Truckfone connected-vehicle devices for their vehicles and are expected to require further equipment in the coming months. As previously announced, Siyata also fulfilled purchase orders last year for Strathcona County to equip the ambulances and fire trucks in their Emergency Services fleets.

CEO of Siyata Mobile Marc Seelenfreund commented, “We are pleased to be able to count Strathcona County as a repeat customer and look forward to providing their emergency personnel with the devices they need. We now have multiple reference customers in this vertical and plan to focus on capturing this important market across Canada.”

There are currently more than 700 RCMP detachments comprised of 8,677 vehicles throughout Canada. Many of these vehicles rely on out-dated 2G networks that are shutting down worldwide, triggering demand for a modern fixed communication device that can run on current networks. Siyata’s Truckfone is the ideal communications device for commercial vehicles, trucks, and fleets, allowing drivers to easily talk and drive with 3G cellular connectivity that offers a clearer signal and broader range.
