Toronto, ON – Siyata Mobile Inc. (TSX-V:SIM / PINK:SIMFF) (the “Company” or “Siyata”) is pleased to announce that one of its long-standing customers, a large mobile operator in Israel, ordered 850 Truckfone devices during the month of February to meet demand from its end users. This represents a monthly record amount of devices ordered from one of the Company’s customers.
Siyata is witnessing strong demand from end users who need to upgrade their current device to a 3G-compatible device as mobile operators around the world are systematically shutting down 2G networks.
Marc Seelenfreund, CEO of Siyata states, “We are pleased to be maintaining our relationship with one of Israel’s largest mobile operators who continue to organically grow their orders for our devices from the continued need of their customers. This is not only a testament of the uniqueness and quality of our devices, but the continued strong demand of the commercial vehicle market to upgrade their aging hardware.”
There are tens of millions of commercial vehicles in world that currently rely on 2G networks and two-way radio systems for their communication platforms. Siyata aims to target this market as they upgrade their communications hardware to be compatible with next generation networks and Push-to-Talk radio technology.
Siyata’s Truckfone and Voyager devices are the world’s first 3G connected-vehicle devices. The Company works with cellular operators and dealerships around the world to meet the needs of fleets requiring a solution for better connectivity, safer driving, and reliable asset tracking.
Siyata Mobile Inc. is a leading global developer and provider of a vehicle-mounted communications platform over advanced mobile networks. Siyata’s customers include cellular operators, commercial vehicle technology distributors, and fleets of all sizes in Canada, the US, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East.
Siyata’s “Connected-Vehicle” devices and accessories are specifically designed for professional fleets such as trucks, vans, buses, ambulances, government cars, and more. Siyata aims to provide greater mobile connectivity for professional drivers and facilitate replacement of the current in-vehicle, multi-device status quo with a single device that incorporates voice, data, and fleet management solutions.
