Montréal, QC – Siyata Mobile Inc. (TSX-V:SIM | OTCQX: SYATF) (the “Company” or “Siyata”) is pleased to announce the UV350 in-vehicle device has received network approval from a leading US Tier 1 Carrier.

The network approval follows the Company’s completion of multiple device installations and trials in various jurisdictions across the United States. The challenging approval process is a lengthy evaluation of how the device and its software will perform on the network. The hardware of the device is also inspected to ensure the device meets the optimal quality standards of the carrier. As a result of the approval, the Uniden® UV350 is in a place generally reserved for the largest global handset providers in the world and precedes the imminent launch in the United States with the Tier 1 carrier.

Gidi Bracha, VP Technology of Siyata Mobile states, “We are very pleased to receive network approval after the lengthy process of hardware and software testing. The UV350 has passed vigorous tests by the US carrier, ensuring that the device meets the need and high standards of their first responder and enterprise customers. The US market has been our core focus for the past few years and we are excited to be the very first to bring this unique next generation device to market and strongly believe it is the ultimate in-vehicle solution enabling Push-to-Talk Over Cellular for first responders and commercial fleets to provide a safer, more efficient way to communicate.”

According to the United States Department of Transportation, in 2016 there were 3.5 million First Responder vehicles and 9.7 million commercial vehicles in the United States. Siyata is the first and only company to offer a dedicated in-vehicle cellular solution for the next generation of fleet communication in North America.
